I really love empties, it gives me the chance to review a bunch of products that I’ve finished to the very end and give you the recommendation to buy them or not! I have a few things on my list for August.
Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in the shade Pretty Thing ($35/Cdn) has been my favourite lipgloss for the past few months. I really wish I could remember when I purchased this, but for some reason it’s not on my Sephora account, but honestly it lasted months and I wore it every day! It’s such a nice nude pink colour, lasts long, and smells nice. I would highly recommend!
Marc Jacobs Daisy is one of my favourite perfumes, its probably my third bottle! It’s a soft floral scent, I just love it. It retails for $96/Cdn, and I will definitely be
grabbing another bottle!
Too Cool For School Egg Cream Microfibre Sheet Masks are super popular in the beauty world, and when I saw these at Nordstrom a few months ago, I had to pick a few up. They retail for around $8/each, and are super hydrating and plump up the skin.
I got a few free samples of the Nivea In Shower Body Lotion and was intrigued to try this. You apply to your skin while you’re in the shower, wait a few seconds and then wash it off. When you come out of the shower, no need to lather up, you’re already moisturized! I think the concept of this is super weird, but honestly, it really works!! I would recommend trying this, as I always forget to hydrate my skin after the shower. I will be purchasing a full size!
I got the Real Techniques Sponge in a double pack when I was in Nashville because the airline lost my luggage, and I was in desperate need! I was previously using the Beauty Blender, and was always dreading buying a new one due to the price, but the Real Techniques sponge is BETTER, and way cheaper!! They retail for $7/each, and now I don’t feel guilty replacing every few months!
Burt’s Bees Lipbalm has been my JAM for well over 10 years.. I can’t even imagine how many tubes I’ve been through?! It’s perfect for hydrating your lips and I love the scent. You can get a twin pack for $8.99.
L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Replenishing Detangling Spray is something I’ve kept in my shower for years! My sister and I used to spray this outside of the shower, and our mom complained that the floors were slippery, so my #1 tip is to spray while you’re still in the shower. This stuff provides keratin to your hair to help with repairs, and it really helps detangle! I buy this at Shoppers for around $12, and the bottle lasts atleast a year.
Batiste Original Dry Shampoo is another one of my jam’s. I’ve been through a million of these as I don’t wash my hair everyday and want to keep it looking fresh. I love to brush my hair out after a workout, blow dry it, and then add this dry shampoo in to soak up over night. Then in the morning, my hair looks fresh! I get these at Winners for $6.99.
That’s it for empties this month! I love all these products and can’t wait to repurchase. What are some of your favourites?
