On Thursday evening I was lucky enough to attend Kin Community‘s #KinAndTonic event, a night of food, drinks, and DIY’s from their top Canadian Influencers. Kin Community curates female focused lifestyle content, such as fashion, beauty, food, home, and DIY related videos!
I noticed immediately that there was a crafting section set up, and of course I wanted to partake. The Sorry Girls, Kelsey and Becky, were there encouraging guests to sit down and transform terracotta pots into cute succulent holders!
Tons of guests got in on the action! It was really nice to see everyone participating and having a good time. The food and drinks were excellent, and the event space was really unique.
I also got the opportunity to speak to Rachhloves from YouTube, she was so sweet and I’m really glad I got the chance to meet her, because I checked out her channel, and am now a happy subscriber!
I loved my little pot so much, I took it to work the next day to display on my desk. I did a little 2 minute gardening session and can’t wait to see what sprouts out the top to turn my pot into a pineapple! All it took was a quick coat of yellow paint and a gold paint marker to create.
I had a great time at the Kin Community event and will be looking to attend their next one later this year!
