Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow: Product Review

One thing I’m particularly proud of are my eyebrows. They’re naturally thick and dark, and I get a lot of questions and compliments about them. Yes, I shape them myself!

About a year and a half ago I started to hear about Anastasia Beverly Hills and her famous brow products, and I ran to Sephora to pick something up. I really wanted to try the Dipbrow Pomade, and the amazing Sephora girl who helped me said every brow product she had tried before slid off her face, but the Dipbrow stuck and she was a firm believer of it. I was sold.

I’m in the shade Medium Brown, and it matches my natural brow hair to a T. The Dipbrow is only $23/Cdn, and I’ve had mine for the full year and a half, with probably about 3 months left of product to go. And while some people like to opt for the drugstore, less expensive brands.. For $23 for almost two years (that’s about a $1 a month!), can you really get any cheaper than that?

I am usually hesitant to try some particular brushes, especially when I already have one in my collection that works just fine. I’ve used the Mac 266 Small Angle Brush, which I found too flimsy, so my go-to has been a similar IT Cosmetics brush (which doesn’t seem to be online anymore!)… until this week. I decided to order the Anastasia Beverly Hills #12 Brush ($23/Cdn), and as soon as I opened up my mail, I knew I would be converted. It is so thin and short, so no room for it to be flimsy. It picks up just the right amount of product to ensure you’re not painting your brows on too strongly, and it honestly creates the most natural looking brows – I’m obsessed!

As for brow gel, I’ve been using the Ulta Clear Brow Gel for about a year now, it does just fine. But I do really want to try the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel next, I hear it’s like super glue for your brows.

If you’re looking for natural looking brows, that will stay on all day, I 100% recommend the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and the Anastasia Beverly Hills #12 Brush, and I think everyone should give it a whirl!

What are your go-to brow products?

I’m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!
