I have always been curious about the Glam Glow Masks, particularly because they’re super expensive and such a cult classic in the beauty world. They have a ton of different mud masks that refine pores, create glowing skin, reduce fine lines and so much more! I was lucky enough to have a friend give me the mini versions of the Gravity Mud Firming Treatment (purple) and the Super Mud Clearing Treatment (white), so let me review two of the Glam Glow Mud Mask for you guys!
The Gravity Mud Mask is a peel off mask designed to firm and tighten skin. Everyone loves a peel off mask, but this one is even more exciting as it’s silver and turns you into a tin man! When you first apply it, it tingles on your skin, which makes it feel like it’s getting deep into your pores. This mask also smells like coconut heaven dreams, I couldn’t get enough of it! My advice would be, don’t be cheap with application, layer it on thick. If its not thick enough, you will have a tough time peeling it off. Leave on for 20-30 minutes, peel off, and voila! Firmer and clear feeling skin. The mini version retails for $24/Cdn at Sephora.
The Super Mud Mask is a dark grey mask that specializes in clearing. It applies really easily to the skin, but smells a bit like medicine? Once you apply this mask, leave it to dry for 20-30 minutes, and you will see little pore dots all over. Sephora describes this as “vacuum extraction” so I guess it’s getting all the junk outta your skin! Once the mask is fully dry, exfoliate with water and wipe it all off in the sink. This mask really clears your pores and leaves you feeling baby soft, I love it! The mini size retails for $24/Cdn at Sephora.
These Glam Glow masks are really amazing products. If I had to choose, I would recommend the Super Mud over the Gravity Mud. I love the way the Super Mud clears out my pores and leaves my skin feeling super soft. I would love to purchase a full size once I’m finished the mini size.
Have you tried or reviewed any of the Glam Glow Mud masks before? Tell me in the comments your thoughts!
