January Beauty Empties

It’s that time again, time to review my January Beauty Empties! I have a few really great products to share this month!

January Beauty Empties

Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer in Sweet Tea – I LOVE this bronzer so much. I grew up on Too Faced bronzers, and when I saw the adorable packaging, I was sold! I purchased this back in April as a birthday gift for myself, and cannot believe it lasted almost 10 months. For $38/Cdn it’s a great deal! It’s also the perfect shade for me, although makes me pretty tanned in those winter months.. But I still love it. I repurchased a second one on Black Friday with the Sephora sale, and was glad to have it ready for me!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer – I’ve only really gotten into primers in the past year, and it’s because I never believed that they really did anything. Well, regardless if I feel like this primer actually works, it makes one hell of a moisturizer. I LOVE the way this feels on my skin in the morning. I’ve been feeling a little dry in the morning this winter, and this primer wakes up my skin, and preps it perfectly for foundation. I accidentally dropped this one and broke it, but don’t worry, I repurchased! You can get this for $50/Cdn.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face CreamI received this as a PR gift before Christmas and completely fell in love! I love the scent, I love how hydrating it is, and I obviously picked up another full size of this. I definitely recommend trying out this cream, even if you try the travel size for $20/Cdn. You just may fall in love!

C.O. Bigelow My Favourite Night Balm – I really like this lip balm for before bed. You can put it on right before you fall asleep, and wake up with it still on. It’s VERY hydrating! However, I’ve been on a bit of a lip balm kick lately, and on the hunt for the best one. So I’m not sure I’ll be repurchasing this.

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara – I picked this up in a pinch a few months ago, mainly because it was on sale, and because it was the love of my life for many years. It’s still a great mascara, but nothing compares to the L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara (you can read my review here!), and it’s definitely replaced this one in my heart.

Caudalie Skincare – I got these as Sephora samples, and was excited as I’ve never tried this brand before. I really loved the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet, ย it made my skin feel so soft, it dried quickly and wasn’t sticky. The Resveratrol Lift Firming Serum was also really nice, but I couldn’t tell a huge difference. If I was to pick one, it would definitely be the Sorbet!

That’s it for my January Beauty Empties! What did you love last month?

Iโ€™m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!
