Too Faced Just Peachy Eyeshadow Palette

As you may have seen on my blog, I already own the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette. When that came out in Summer 2016, I didn’t need it, I wasn’t going to get it. Once the palette sold out, the hype all over Instagram for this palette was unreal, so when it came back in stock, I ordered it. Then, 10 months later, the Just Peachy Eyeshadow Palette starts getting teased on Instagram, well, I just could not RESIST! I needed to own it!

The Too Faced Just Peachy Matte Eyeshadow Palette launched on at the very end of August. I didn’t waste any time and ordered it, and was so excited for it to come in the mail. While I love my Sweet Peach Palette, I do find myself reaching towards matte shades on a more regular basis, and the colours in the Sweet Peach had more shimmers than anything.

I have been loving the Just Peachy Matte shades. There are two really great shades to set your base, amazing transition shades, some pop of colour, and shades to darken the outer V. I love it! I wanted to test this palette out for a few weeks so I could shade some great looks with you guys!

Look #1

This is a very typical, everyday look for me. I love applying concealer as a base, setting with a light bone colour, putting one or two brown shades in the crease, adding a wing, and voila! In this look, which I’ve been wearing a ton, I set my entire lid with Peach Meringue, added Peaches & Cream and Peach Tea into the crease, added my favourite NYX Matte Liquid Liner, and called it a day! To add a bit of drama, in this photo I’ve added Peach Tart and Fresh-Picked to the lower lash line. It’s a really great look!

Look #2

I wanted to keep my favourite everyday look of setting the lid with a light shadow, Peach Butter in this case, and then add a light brown to the crease (Peach Tea), but also wanted to spice it up a bit. I took a thin slanted eyeliner brush and dipped it into Chocolate Dipped to create a dark brown wing, rather than my signature black. I think it created a lighter look, and I really loved it!

Look #3

I am beyond obsessed with this look. I really love pink/peach eyeshadows on myself, which isn’t something people typically like, but I LOVE it! I think with my blond hair and green eyes, peach is a great colour for me. This look was very simple, I set with Peach Butter and started by building Peaches and Cream into the crease. I then layered Just Peachy, Peach Tea and Peach Cobbler in the crease to build up the pink/peach intensity. I think this is such a pretty look for the summer, and I know I’ll be wearing it 24/7 once warmer weather returns!

Look #4

This is definitely a “sexier” weekend look, and required a pair of false eyelashes to really create the dramatic look. As always, started by setting my lid with Peach Meringue or Peach Butter, and added Peach Tea in the crease. Then added Fresh Picked, Peach Cobbler and Peach Tart in the crease to build up the red-ish smokey colour. Finally, I added Chocolate Dipped to the outer half of my eyelid. I did not use a winged liner for this look as it was dramatic enough as is!

Look #5

This look was way out of my comfort zone, but I absolutely LOVED it and kept checking it out in the mirror!! A lot of people are really put off by reds, pinks and purples, and I wanted to show that anyone can rock them! I started lightly by adding Peaches and Cream, then Just Peachy, Fresh Picked, Peach Cobbler and then Peach Punch. By starting slowly and building up the colours, you’re able to create a really blended ombre rather than stark colours. I then added Just Ripe to the crease and blended Peach Sangria onto the lid. I added Fresh Picked and Just Ripe on the lower lash line, skipped the black liquid liner and added lashes! I really loved this look and would recreate again for sure.

These are just 5 of the many looks you can create with the Too Faced Just Peachy Matte Eyeshadow Palette. Even though it’s a lot of peach colours, I think it’s a very versatile palette that has the perfect transition colours. It retails for $55/Cdn, I’d highly recommend picking it up! Which look is your favourite?

I’m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!
