Hi y’all! Happy April. Today I bring you my March Beauty Empties! I had only 2 or 3 from February, so I decided to skip to March, and we have tons to talk about today. Everything from beauty to fragrance to skincare.. Only one problem! I took a picture of all my empties, threw the products out, and then reset my phone to factory settings, and lost the newest pictures on my phone. So, work with me here!
Becca Backlight Priming Filter Face Primer – I purchased this last April as a birthday gift to myself because I’d been admiring it for awhile. I really, really loved this primer and wanted to savour it all year long. I just purchased a new one while in Florida last week, more on that later! But I did review this previously on the blog, for my Lightweight Foundation routine, which you can read here! It retails for $46/Cdn but lasted me quite awhile. I love the glow it provides, and it smells fantastic!
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation – This is my second bottle of this foundation. I loved the coverage it provided, but unfortunately, I’m just finding that there are too many good foundations out these days, and won’t be repurchasing this one. I really enjoyed this foundation, so if you’re tempted to try it, definitely do. This retails for $51/Cdn.
Clinique Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser – I received this as a Sephora sample and have kept in my travel bag for the better part of the year. I think it smells fantastic and provides a really great cleanse of the skin. However, again, I have just too many face cleansers to count, so won’t be repurchasing this guy. It retails for $25/Cdn.
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara – I believe this is my 3rd tube of this, and it just continues to impress me. I reviewed this mascara back in the summer to compare it to Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, read here! I will continue to buy this mascara forever!! It retails for around $16/Cdn at Shoppers Drug Mart.
NYX Matte Liquid Liner – I can’t even guess how many tubes of this liner I’ve been through? I’ve been using for at least 2-3 years now, and I absolutely love it! I love the brush, how black it is, and the long-lasting formula. It’s my favourite!! It retails for $7/Cdn at Shoppers Drug Mart or NYX stores.
Makeup Forever Ultra HD Loose Powder – I also received this a while ago as a Sephora sample, and while it is super fine and nice on my under eyes, it has a flashback which is a no-go for me! I would not repurchase a full size of this. It retails for $44/Cdn.
Maybelline Master Fix Setting-Perfecting Loose Powder – Same as the above, this powder is so fine and really nice on under eyes. If you’re a fan of the Makeup Forever version and want to save some bucks, definitely pick this one up. However, flashback is an issue for me when I’m out at nighttime, so I would only wear this during the day. This retails for around $10/Cdn at the drug store.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Facial Cleansing Towelettes – These wipes were my ride or die for years, they were so great at removing everything; I didn’t think they could be beaten. But, my mama found the more amazing Costco brand Kirkland ones, and they beat the Neutrogena wipes. I had these leftover and needed to get through them, and hated every wipe (haha). I even had to add micellar water to them! No go from me going forward! These retail for around $12/Cdn.
Chanel Chance Eau de Toilette Twist & Spray – I LOVE this little guy. It’s perfect for travel, the scents amazing, and I just love refilling the bottle! I think this is the 4th recharge I’ve had? It’s so great! This retails for $100/Cdn.
That’s it for my March Beauty Empties! I wish I could have had my photo to share with you guys.. but I’ve learned my lesson now!! What did you polish off in March?
I’m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!
