Neutrogena Skincare

Hey y’all! The last couple of weeks have been non-stop busy for me! My bestie got married, so I’ve been busy with the bachelorette party, as well as the wedding this past weekend. But now I’m ready to get back on track with my blog! And after a month of lots of alcohol and parties, I’m so happy to review some Neutrogena Skincare for you guys!

Neutrogena Skincare

I was lucky enough to receive these two products from the Neutrogena Skincare line. To the left is the Hydro Boost Hydrogel Sheet Mask, and to the right is the Deep Clean Purifying Clay Mask/Cleanser. The Sheet Mask says it has a two-in-one formula that can be used as a daily cleanser or a deep cleansing sheet mask while targeting 100% of impurities without stripping your skin. While the Clay Mask/Cleanser contains hyaluronic acid, instantly leaves skin feeling quenched, smooth and supple.

The sheet mask from the Neutrogena Skincare line was different than any I’ve ever used before. You have to peel the sheet mask off a white piece of paper and the mask is a clear gel material. Their website states that the clear hydrogel material holds up to 50% more essence than a paper sheet mask, and it contours easier to your face. I won’t disagree with that! This sheet mask actually fit my entire face, unlike a lot of them where it wrinkles and doesn’t adhere properly.  The description mentions you can use this as a daily cleanser – which is probably the weirdest description for a sheet mask in my option. I would not recommend using it like that. Would I buy this mask again? Probably. It was easy to apply, stays on well, but it definitely soaks into your skin quickly. So if you’re into long-wearing sheet masks, this one isn’t for you. This mask retails for about $4/Cdn.

Neutrogena Skincare

The Deep Clean Purifying Clay Mask/Cleanser from the Neutrogena Skincare line is an interesting product. I couldn’t wait to use it as a regular clay mask. It spread out really nice and evenly, and feels minty/tingly. To me, this mask was pretty impressive and I appreciated that it came in a tube, rather than a traditional tub like most masks. It cleared out my skin pretty well, and for $10/Cdn, is a great price. I didn’t think I’d enjoy this as a cleanser, but I was surprised! It worked really well and left my skin clean and soft afterward. I definitely prefer it as a mask though and will continue to use for that purpose.

Overall, these two products from the Neutrogena Skincare line were really great, and I’d recommend picking either of them up!

I’m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!

Thanks to Influenster and Neutrogena for sending me these products complimentary for testing purposes.
