November Makeup Empties

Okay, I know it’s the 11th of December, but I can’t miss out on the chance to review my November Makeup Empties! I’ve got a variety of fun products, and lots of stuff I’d repurchase! What’s on your November Makeup Empties list?! Tell me in the comments!

November Makeup Empties

NYX Matte Finishing Spray: I’ve been through MANY bottles of this finishing spray. For under $10/Cdn a bottle, it’s my favourite spray on the market. I’ve tried many high end sprays, and I always go back to this one! It’s the best! I’ll be picking up a new one at Shoppers Drug Mart this week.

L’Oreal Infalliable Pro-Glow Foundation: This is my third tube of this foundation! I have tried the matte version, and it isn’t nearly as good as the Pro-Glow. I love the coverage, it lasts all day, and it comes at a drugstore price! It’s occasionally on sale for $14.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, and I just grabbed a new one last week 😉

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Highligher in Opal: I couldn’t wait to purchase this highlighter…. TWO years ago! I can’t believe how long it lasted, and I’d buy another Becca highlighter in a heartbeat. In the beauty world, they’ve got a cult following, but I don’t need a new one.. Because I have two others, oops! Opal is such a gorgeous colour, and when my other two Becca’s are empty, I’d pick this one up again. This highlighter retails for $46/Cdn at Sephora.

Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara: I tested this mascara out a few months ago (read my review here!). It’s a pretty great mascara, and I enjoyed trying out a high end brand. However, I think drugstore mascaras are equally, if not better, quality, and I don’t think the $40 price tag is worth it for me.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre: I LOVE this perfume. I received this little travel set for Christmas last year, and I think it’s the perfect size. It comes with 3 mini bottles, and I’m on bottle number 3 now.. Mom, I’ll take a new one for Christmas!

Carmex Lip Balm: I picked this up at the airport in Tampa while travelling for work because my love, Burts Bees, ran out during the trip. And.. I loved it! It feels really great on your lips, hydrates well, and lasts forever. I got this in February and it just ran out this month. For $3, it’s perfect!

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Primer: I got this as a 100 point perk from Sephora, and was excited to try because I love First Aid Beauty! It’s super hydrating, but I could not stand the smell!! It was such a fake coconut smell, and I just couldn’t get over it. I won’t be purchasing a full size.

That’s it for my November Makeup Empties! I love finishing up products and reviewing for you guys! What are some products I should try before the end of the year?

I’m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!
