Osheaga Love

This weekend I got the exciting opportunity to fly to Montreal to attend Osheaga. Osheaga is a 3 day music festival that happens every year on the island Parc Jean Drapeau in Montreal! I’m not much of the music festival type, but I was excited to check out Montreal, and the festival that I’ve heard so much about!

How freaking cute are these flower crowns? I was obviously super excited to wear them all weekend, they just look so cute with your hair down, and I especially like mine with curly hair! I got these for free at the festival, and I’m sure they’ll make an appearance another day in my life ;).

There was so many things to see and do at Osheaga, but what I really enjoyed the most were the activations that each brand put on. Tons of sponsorship tents and booths surrounded the festival grounds, I wanted to see and do it all. For the beauty/fashion lover like me, there were tons of booths that really struck my interest. The NYX Cosmetics, Schick, and H&M were the three that really stood out, and I was excited to attend.

NYX Cosmetics had a cute trailer-like booth set up where they were giving out make-up touch ups and free lipsticks from their vending machine. I didn’t go for the make-up touch up, but two of my girlfriends did, trying out their Vivid Brights liners and  eyeshadows. The vending machine was a really cute touch to their booth, it featured the Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks. The first day, I received the colour Amethyst, which really wasn’t up my alley, so we headed back again the next day, and I received Life’s a Beach, a fun coral colour which I will definitely be wearing the rest of the summer! Unfortunately I found out afterwards that one of my fav YouTubers, Samantha, was there on Friday afternoon! I wish I had gotten the chance to see her!

Next up was the H&M booth, which was bright and colourful! Their main focus was on colouring, which was fun and relaxing on a hot sunny day. They welcomed you into their lovely air conditioned building and let you pick out a bandana to colour in. I picked the peace sign and away I went to colouring. I have an adult colouring book waiting for me at home, and I honestly don’t know why I haven’t cracked into it yet, since this was so enjoyable.

Finally, we were big fans of the Schick Razor booth. They were giving out free Hydro Silk razors, which I won’t lie, I came home with a hand full of. They were also giving out free 15 minute massages and a great space to hangout and relax!

Besides listening to music, enjoying the scenery, and having some fun eats, Osheaga was a lot of fun to walk around and see what different brands were doing. With 45,000 people crossing over to Parc Jean-Drapeau for the yearly music festival, I’m so glad I got the opportunity to check it out, it really was a sight to see! Even if you’re not into the music scene, there was something for everyone to do!

Have you checked out Osheaga? What was your favourite part of the festival?

I’m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!
