Thursday Plantation Brand: Product Review

A few weeks ago Thursday Plantation reached out to me and asked if they could send over some skincare for me to try. I had never heard of them before, but as soon as I saw that they were an all natural brand that wanted to send me product with Tea Tree Oil in it, I said absolutely! I looooove to try new skincare, and I still had yet to try anything with Tea Tree Oil in it, so I was extremely excited!

The team was kind enough to send over their 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil, Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne, Step 1: Tea Tree Face Wash Foam, Step 2: Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Toner, Step 3: Tea Tree Face Cream, and a reusable face mask. I had never used Tea Tree oil before, and I always see people raving about it online, so was very curious to test these products out. Tea Tree Oil can be used for a large variety of things, from acne to sun burns, to freshening up your laundry. I could not wait to try these out!

The first two products, the Pure Tea Tree Oil ($13.99/Cdn) and the Medicated Gel for Acne ($11.99/Cdn) I used right away on acne spots. I tried both on different areas of my face, and was extremely impressed that the redness went down drastically over night. The gel is specifically for zits as it penetrates the skin to dry out the acne spot, while the pure oil is a natural antiseptic that helps with minor cuts. Both of these did a fabulous job at getting rid of some unwanted pimples over night!

The Tea Tree Face Wash Foam ($14.99) was a little different for me. The pump bottle is super convenient, so A+ for that. But the product has a super strong, almost medical smell, that I really did not like. However, it did deep clean my face and felt very nice afterwards. Now I know this is super weird, but after being in Vegas a few weeks ago, my scalp was extremely dry and needed some assistance.. so I actually washed my hair with this foam wash, and guess what? The dryness of my scalp was gone instantly!

The Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Toner  ($12.99/Cdn) is supposed to purify the skin and tighten pores, all while improving the look of your skin. I feel like once I use this, my skin is super clean and I feel like my day is finally washed off my face. I am seriously enjoying this toner, I think its my fave product that the team sent over!

The Tea Tree Face Cream with Rose Hip ($15.99/Cdn) is a lightweight moisturizer that feels really nice on the skin. I have been applying it to my face for the past couple of weeks, but I’ve also been applying it to my upper arms before bed, and they’re extremely smooth. I cannot stand when my arms are dry and red with “chicken skin,” so this products really been making them look great this summer!

Lastly, the team included a reusable cotton face mask that you concoct up your own materials to create a personalized mask. They included a recipe to use the Tea Tree Oil with honey and some water, and I gave it a whirl. The mask was a bit too big for me, so didn’t stay comfortably on my face (I will trim it down), but I think this is an AWESOME idea to have this type of product. It easily soaked up the mixture, and you can wash it easily by hand or in the washing machine. I think its a fabulous idea!

Overall, I really really enjoyed these products. For a brand I had never even seen before, I’m super impressed, and would be willing to recommend a few of the products. My favourites are definitely the toner, the pure oil, and the medicated gel, but would also recommend the face cream as well! You can find these products are your local Walmart, Loblaws, and Rexall.

Have you tried any of these products before? Do you use Tea Tree Oil in your daily routine? Let me know!

I’m just winging it. My life, my eyeliner, everything!
