On Wednesday evening I was lucky to be invited to Wet n Wild Cosmetic’s 2017 Collection Launch party at Baro in Toronto! I was really excited to attend as this was my FIRST ever beauty party, and I couldn’t wait to check it out.
Wet n Wild was launching their 2017 collection and wanted all Toronto beauty bloggers to have a chance to chat with them about this new collection, as well as test out the products first hand. The party was held at Baro on King West, and was catered with open bar, a DJ, live entertainment and products set up around the room for swatching!
It was really fun to mingle with other Toronto beauty bloggers, and of course, check out all the new products from Wet n Wild. They also let us know that they’re working hard at getting their products into more Canadian retailers, but in the mean time if you’d like to order, you can use code CANADA for free shipping!
The best part of the night was, however, the GIFT BAG! One of the girls working the event let me know I’d be going home with “one of everything” but I didn’t think it would be this much! I received SO much makeup from the Wet n Wild party, it’s ridiculous!
From left to right, top to bottom:
Saving Base nail polish base ($2.99), Micellar Water Makeup Remover ($4.99), Gel Lip Balm in Love and Tease ($2.99), a USB stick, Conceal and Contour sticks in Call me Maple and Follow your Bisque ($3.99), Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette ($6.99), Gel Lip Liners in Red the Scene and Bare to comment (2.99), Catsuit Liquid Lipsticks in Coral Corruption, Berry Recognize and Give me Mocha ($4.99), Eyebrow Kit ($3.99), PhotoFocus Foundation ($5.99), Dual Ended Contour Stick ($4.99), Matte Finishing Powder ($4.99), PhotoFocus Pressed Powder ($4.99), PhotoFocus Concealer ($3.99), Lash Renegade Mascara ($5.99), and Highlighter in Crown of my Canopy ($4.99).
I couldn’t wait to try all this new makeup, so have been testing out the past two days. The PhotoFocus Foundation was really nice, although a few shades darker than me, but I can mix with a lightener to get my skintone. It stayed matte all day and went on really nicely! The Call me Maple Contour stick blended out really well and was a great colour for me. The Gel Lip Balm was a nice touch of colour while hydrating the lips. The Lash Renegade mascara was just ok… the brush has two different ends to it, to really get into the corners of your eyes, but I don’t really feel like it does much for me. And the Catsuit Liquid Lipsticks were supposed to be the big star of the party, and they don’t disappoint! I got three really pretty colours, and they stay on SO well throughout the day, and they are super comfortable, I highly recommend!
